The 10.00
Index, 10.50 Index, and 11.50 Index classes will be
qualified 32 car fields (Instead of All-Run Fields) and
placed on a ladder first round this year at the 19th
annual Haltech World Cup Finals. All non-qualifiers may
compete in the Second Chance Race on Sunday evening.
There will be 2 qualifiers on Friday and 1 qualifier on
Saturday morning for 10.00 Index, 10.50 Index, and 11.50
Index. Then on Saturday evening first round will start
for the Index classes, and Round #2 will resume on
Sunday morning along with Round #1 of the Heads-Up
classes.
These changes will eliminate close to 200 Index cars
from Sunday's competition and speed up the event to make
it better for our racers and fans, and get it completed
at a reasonable hour. It is our goal to have the entire
event on Sunday completed between 6pm-7pm for all
classes.
Also all FWD cars in 10.00, 10.50, and 11.50 Index
classes this year will be required to have a blanket or
a catch pan to compete.
The 12.50 Index class has been dropped this year to give
more track time and room in the pit area for the faster
classes.
Sincerely,
Jason Miller
